Ingredients:
Flacked Tuna
Spring Onions
Green Onion
Chili Pepper
Ginger
3 Eggs
Olive Oil
Fresh Coriander
English Muffins
Sriracha
First take the canned tuna and put it all in a strainer, drain the water out but not completely then put in a bowl.
Next remove the skin
of the ginger and grate it into the bowl of tuna. After that chop some spring
onions and fresh coriander. Next add one or two finely chopped chilies,
depending on how spicy you like your food. In my case I used Chili powder. Add
salt and pepper, then around 2 tablespoons of fish sauce. Lastly you want to
add 2 eggs and start mixing it all together with your hands.
Roll the mixed
ingredients into small balls and then pat them down lately so they form a small
burger. Do that until all of the mixture is formed into small burgers. Put the
tuna sliders onto a hot pan. Let them sit for close to 2 minutes then flip them
for another 2 minutes.
Meanwhile toasts an
English muffin until it’s warm and soft then place the cooked tuna sliders onto
the English muffin. To finish off the meal top it all off with the condiments
of your choice. I used tartar sauce and Sriracha hot sauce. This meal is great
because it is so simple, inexpensive, tastes amazing, and it’s very healthy.
This was one of my favourite things to make when I was very hungry but didn’t
feel like cooking too much.
